Quiche

Ingredients:

Shortcrust dough
Soft Flour… 250g
Baking power… 1/4tsp
Margarine/Butter… 150g
Ice cold water .. 45/50ml

Filling
Fresh milk… 50-100ml
Cooking cream.. 50-100ml
Eggs… 2-4
Pepper powder
Vegetables of choice
Protein of choice
Mozzarella cheese

Procedure:

1. In a bowl sieve flour and baking powder
2. Rub in margarine/butter to a sandy mixture
3. Make a well in the centre and add sufficient water to make a fairly firm paste
4. Refrigerate dough till ur filling is ready
5. Beat wet filling ingredients(eggs, milk and cream) together with a hand whisk
6. Roll and mould dough to take shape of the tart or quiche baking tin(already greased)
7. Put in protein and veggies, sprinkle a pepper, spread cheese on it
8. Pour in the liquid cream mixture on it
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180o for 30 to 40min
